THE WELL-Lutheran Campus Ministry @ VT

community red

Lutheran Campus Ministry at Virginia Tech or  The Well.   Why “The Well”? In biblical times the well was the central gathering place for the community. Campus ministry should be a place where students find:

  • refreshment & hospitality
  • conversations about faith
  • community
In John 4 a woman encountered Christ and found living water. The Well is a place where all are welcome.  The Well is a place where you can engage your brain, your body, and the bible in a living faith.

Safe Zone  We affirm with the apostle Paul that in Christ "there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female" (Galatians3:28)  Christ has made us one.  We acknowledge this reconciliation extends to all people regardless of race or culture, sexual orientation, gender idenitity, or relationship status. We welcome all without regard to addictions, physical or mental health, imprisonment, socio-economic circumstances, or anything that too often divides us. Our unity is in Christ.  All people  of this fellowship are encouraged to share in the sacramental and general life of The Well and  Luther Memorial Lutheran Church.
